Welcome to the first ever edition of Curious Hours 🎉

The potential of artificial intelligence (AI) is no longer confined to the world of science fiction. It’s impact is being witnessed across various sectors, including healthcare and transportation, where it is revolutionising industries. As leaders at the vanguard of advancement, it is incumbent upon us to diligently guide our organisations towards an artificial future in a strategic manner.

What healthcare looks like with AI integration

From supply chain optimisations at Amazon to finance, where banks employ AI for fraud detection, we can see a significant transformation. Companies embracing AI are experiencing transformative shifts in their operations.

Take customer service, for instance; giants like Microsoft and Google now rely on chatbots to handle inquiries, slashing costs and elevating customer satisfaction.

In manufacturing, General Electric employs computer vision on assembly lines to identify defects and prevent costly errors. Meanwhile, personalisation algorithms drive increased sales and enhanced marketing conversions for retailers like ASOS and Netflix.

AI's proficiency in data analysis, pattern recognition, and process optimisation is delivering game-changing results, including heightened revenues and a competitive edge spanning industries. AI is evolving into an indispensable tool for today's and tomorrow's enterprises.

Quote of the week

Artificial intelligence, deep learning, machine learning — whatever you're doing if you don't understand it — learn it. Because otherwise, you're going to be a dinosaur within three years.

How do you ACTUALLY use AI ?

Chat GPT is the pinnacle of AI and it’s easy to master. All you do is explain what sector of business you’re in and find a solution for your problem, need advice or even have it as your lawyer to read over contracts.

AI is not a trend. Instead it’s what businesses will be operating on in the coming years. There’s no doubt about it, the idea that AI will replace humans is a fugazi term. Humans with the accomplice of AI will forever change any business industry.

By functioning Chat GPT to be your own personal assistant is done with the simple words of:

"ChatGPT, I want to understand how you can serve as my personal assistant in various aspects of my life. Please provide insights into the tasks, activities, and areas where your AI capabilities can be leveraged effectively to assist me. Explain the benefits of having you as a personal assistant and provide examples of how you can streamline my daily routines, enhance productivity, and help me achieve my goals."

The more detail you give Chat GPT, the better the response is.

AI is not like Siri on your phone but instead a much developed piece of AI and whether we like it or not its going to be everywhere.

AI fosters innovation by enabling the development of new products and services. Leaders and executives without AI may struggle to keep up with evolving market demands. Businesses that resist adopting AI risk being outpaced by their AI-enabled counterparts in an increasingly fast-paced and data-driven world.

A Stanford study found that AI adopters had 3-15% higher productivity rates than other analysed firms.

The World Economic Forum projects AI could provide a $13 trillion boost in global GDP by 2030.

This image of Elon Musk was even created by AI. The possibilities are endless and how we can integrate AI is truly outstanding. It can be through productivity, customer service, data analysis, predictive analysis.

AI chatbots designed for customer service have garnered significant attention in recent times. These chatbots exhibit remarkable efficiency in providing consistent and high-quality responses, thereby establishing customer satisfaction as the prevailing standard.

AI chatbots reduce the need for a large customer support team, resulting in significant cost savings in terms of salaries, training, and infrastructure. Chatbots can handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously, allowing businesses to scale their customer support without proportionally increasing staff.

Chatbots generate data on customer interactions, enabling owners to analyse and improve customer service strategies.

Chatbots can handle up to 80% of routine customer service questions, reducing human workload according to Oracle.
