Hello, Google! Dive into Bard's Newest Update
ISSUE 003
Welcome to the 3rd edition to Curious Hours
Google’s generative AI system is called Bard. Bard was released in March 2023. Seeing the increase of AI generative systems, Google didn’t want to miss out. 6 months on from their release, they released a new update on Bard that changes people’s experience on Google.
Bard's not just playing the game; it's changing it. Google's thrown its hat in the ring, integrating its top-tier apps with Bard. We're talking Gmail, Docs, Maps, YouTube - the whole package. This isn't just an update; it's a revolution.
Imagine Bard is like your best friend at work who knew everyone and everything. You needed help with work? Bard had a answer. You wanted to know the latest gossip? Bard was your go-to. Now, Google has basically thrown the biggest update and given Bard an all-access VIP pass. So, when you ask Bard about that email you can't find? It's like asking your friend to find a needle in a haystack - he goes straight to Gmail and gets it for you.
Need a recap of that document? Bard's already in Google Docs, getting the info. It's not about tech or AI; it's about connections, convenience, and having that ultimate insider friend. And now, Bard's that friend with the keys to the Google and helps you with effciency.
ChatGPT Plugins got serious competition from Google Bard Extensions.
Google integrated its most popular apps with Bard for a futuristic user experience.
Bard can fetch the key information from Gmail, Docs, Maps, YouTube - even if the information is spread across multiple apps! twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

The name of the Google AI ‘Bard’ sounds ridiculous and that’s what happens when Google tries to copy everything.
The amazing thing about these features is that it pushes the boundaries of what we can achieve and one thing I like about this is that it’s so productive. Some people find the future scary because of AI but once you understand how it can benefit you, there’s countless of ways which we can use it.
Examples can be:
Continuous learning about AI
Scalability
Risk mitigation
Using AI for these causes keeps us ahead of the curve and makes people wonder how we’re so quick and efficient. Learning about AI for even 5 minutes a day every week, slowly makes us more aware of what it is and what the actual benefit is rather then what the mainstream media say.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK
—Creativity is thinking up new things. Innovation is doing new things.
First off, Google's calling this the "first phone of the generative AI era." What's that mean? Generative AI is like the next level of AI. Instead of just responding or analysing, it creates. Think of it like this: traditional AI might tell you a story, but generative AI? It writes the story for you.
Pixel 8's Magic Editor uses generative AI to let you reposition and resize stuff in your photos. It's like having a mini Photoshop, powered by AI, right in your pocket.
Generative AI (Pixel Pro): Smarter voice assistants, like the enhanced Google Assistant, can understand and generate more complex responses, making interactions more intuitive.
Traditional Smartphones: Voice assistants with limited response capabilities, often restricted to predefined commands.
Innovation with AI is definitely the new wave and just being updated to see what the biggest of companies are doing about it can give us some idea of what’s happening. Identifying how AI is going to change every sector is key and even when we look at our industries, questions how our sector will change because of AI.
Apple's iPhone launch in the late 2000s transformed smartphones. Now, Google's AI-driven Pixel Pro is set to redefine device interaction in a similar groundbreaking manner
